1. Q&A Janet Tam: What strengths do you believe female leaders bring to the table?
One of the strengths I’ve seen in women leaders is their constant encouraging nature and their keen observation in bringing the good out of the team. These days, it’s so important to sustain a growing strong team in order to be successful in this fast changing tech environment. A strong leader is someone who identifies talents and fosters an environment that allows them to challenge themselves and grow.
2. Q&A Lindsay Docherty: Why do you think it’s important for more women to join the technology industry?
Women make up almost half of the world population, yet are only a small fraction of the workforce in the technology industry. Even less when it comes to decision makers. When we think about innovation and how tech shapes our future, the idea that half of the population doesn’t have a seat at that table means there’s a huge gender gap in representation. Technology is consumed by everybody and so I believe it’s critical that women be part of that tech conversation, its growth and innovation.
4. Q&A Kanchan Singh: What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
My advice would be to constantly believe in yourself. It’s something we often forget along our journey. Remember, you are here for a reason, you’ve been delivering the results and you’ve earned yourself a seat at that table.
